Does LEC wire homes for production builders?
Yes. Single family wiring for national and regional homebuilders is the core of LEC’s business. We quote per plan, wire each home through rough-in and trim-out, and coordinate the inspections.
What is structured wiring in a new home?
Structured wiring is the low-voltage network of a house: data, fiber, coax and audio cables run from each room back to one central panel. It gives the home reliable wired internet and makes future upgrades simple.
What is a Level 2 EV charger?
A Level 2 charger runs on a 240-volt circuit, the same kind a dryer uses, and charges an electric vehicle several times faster than a standard 120-volt outlet. It is the usual choice for a home garage.
Can I watch my security cameras remotely?
Yes. LEC installs systems with remote camera monitoring options, so owners can view cameras and receive motion activated alerts from their phone.
How does a home standby generator work?
An automatic transfer switch watches the utility power. When it senses an outage it starts the generator and moves the home’s circuits onto it, then switches back when utility power returns.
What can whole house automation control?
Lighting, appliances and devices, the security system, thermostats and energy use. Owners can run it from keypads, a phone app or voice assistants, at home or away.
